Transparency in Military Administration and Guaranteeing the Right to Know for Residents

The information disclosure evaluation is conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to guarantee the public's right to know, encourage public participation in state affairs, and ensure policy transparency. It evaluates 587 institutions nationwide, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public enterprises, based on 10 indicators across 4 areas: prior information, original document disclosure, request processing, and customer management.
In this evaluation, Goheung-gun received perfect scores in the fidelity of original information disclosure, appropriateness of detailed non-disclosure criteria, and customer demand analysis performance indicators, while also earning generally high scores in other evaluation items.
A county official stated, "This meaningful result reflects the efforts of all employees to improve information disclosure services to residents, fulfilling administrative transparency and the public's right to know." He added, "We will continue to do our best to guarantee residents' right to know through more transparent administrative information disclosure and to become a trusted institution."
