[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Noh Hyun-song) received a scholarship fund of 10 million KRW from EH Construction (CEO Bae Byung-ryeol) on the 21st to foster local talent.

The donation will be used through the Gangseo-gu Scholarship Foundation to support the education of low-income children, including basic livelihood security recipients and single-parent families.

Mayor Noh Hyun-song expressed gratitude to EH Construction for practicing sharing by returning corporate profits to society despite difficulties caused by the economic downturn, stating, "We will continue various scholarship projects so that children, the hope of the future, can focus on their studies without economic hardship."

Established in 2001, the Gangseo-gu Scholarship Foundation has provided scholarships totaling approximately 1.43 billion KRW to 1,104 students to date.
