[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Longtu Korea unveiled its 2021 mobile game lineup of six new titles, including its most anticipated release, "Bless Eternal," on the 21st.
A company representative stated, "Since 2015, we have been releasing 2 to 3 new games annually on average, and this year we plan to launch six new games. With the blockbuster 'Bless Eternal' and a record six titles being released, we expect to achieve our highest performance driven by the success of these new games."
Longtu Korea plans to release three new mobile games in the first half of the year and three in the second half. Starting with "Hyeopgaekdo," Longtu Korea's first vertical-oriented game, the company will sequentially introduce the fantasy-style casual MMORPG "Geukgwang" and "L Project (tentative title)," the next work from the developer of "Boss Rave," which was released in 2019.
In the second half of the year, they will release "Changgi," based on the popular Japanese animation IP "Ortensia Saga," and the highly anticipated "Bless Eternal." Additionally, the collectible RPG "Bangpaeyongsa" is also targeted for release in the second half.
The year's most anticipated title, "Bless Eternal," is a game that Longtu Korea's parent company, Longtu Games, has been meticulously developing since 2017. It is a major mobile MMORPG produced using Neowiz's flagship online game IP "Bless," and there are high expectations for its success even before its release.
Lee Hong-ui, Head of Longtu Korea's Game Business Division, said, "The games released last year, 'Origin of the Dragon,' 'Kairos,' and 'Tanseong,' continue to show steady traffic. With many new releases planned this year, we will do our best to ensure smooth game service operations."
