[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Gyeongsangnam-do is updating forest recreation information to provide rest for residents exhausted by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

For the convenience of residents, in November last year, the province opened a forest recreation information menu on its website, allowing users to check forest recreation information from each city and county in one place.

This update adds and renews information on facilities completed last year, such as the latest Geochang Healing Forest and Hamiang Garden.

Currently, information on 93 forest recreation facilities and forest education programs in the province can be checked through the website.

Yoon Dong-jun, head of the Forest Recreation Division of Gyeongnam Province, stated, “We will strive to contribute to overcoming COVID-19 depression and enhance residents’ happiness through the expansion and systematic management of forest recreation facilities and forest education services. We plan to continuously communicate with residents to inspect the website and update it with the latest information to ensure there is no inconvenience in finding information.”
