Ourhome Obtains ISO45001 Certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management System

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Comprehensive food company Ourhome announced on the 21st that it has obtained the Safety and Health Management System (ISO45001) certification from the Korea Foundation for Quality (KFQ).

ISO45001 is an international standard officially adopted in 2018 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Labour Organization (ILO). It is the highest-level international standard certification system in the field of safety and health, evaluating whether safety and health systems for various risks and industrial accidents that may occur in workplaces are effectively operated.

Ourhome was recognized for its top-level safety and health management system by acquiring the ISO45001 certification following its acquisition of the standardized safety management system OHSAS18001 at the headquarters level in 2017, the first in the group meal service industry.

Ourhome applies a high-level safety and health system to its extensive network of over 850 group meal service stores nationwide, striving to prevent safety accidents and promote workers' health. The company also operates a dedicated safety management organization and thoroughly conducts manager training and periodic inspections at each store.

Additionally, the company has independently built a database of approximately 40,000 types of chemicals distributed domestically and developed a 'Chemical Substance Management System' that reviews the harmfulness of products at the purchasing stage to preemptively block the inflow of hazardous substances.
