[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) will hold an online non-face-to-face briefing session on the 21st from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. via its YouTube channel to collect residents' opinions regarding the revision and change decision (draft) of the Wolgok Living Area Central District Unit Planning Zone.
This briefing session has been planned and conducted in a different way from before due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
As the environment where the previous resident briefings were held has changed, the district office plans to send online resident briefing notices via text messages to local council residents and then broadcast the briefing video through Seongbuk-gu's official YouTube channel.
Access to the channel can be made by searching for ‘Wolgok Saenghwalgwonjungsim Jigu Danwihwaegyehoek’ (Wolgok Living Area Central District Unit Planning) on YouTube. After collecting residents' opinions, the district will proceed with advisory and review processes through the Urban Architecture Joint Committee before finalizing and announcing the plan.

A district official stated, “We have explained the progress of the district unit plan and listened to residents' demands through resident public hearings and 16 resident council meetings,” adding, “We will continue to gather opinions in various ways to hear more on-site and practical feedback.”
