Gokseong-gun Conducts Anti-Corruption and Integrity Pledge Campaign

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 20th that it will conduct a campaign for writing an integrity pledge to establish a clean and fair organizational culture until the 21st.

All employees of Gokseong-gun will handwrite an anti-corruption and integrity pledge containing matters such as performing public interest-centered duties, eradicating pursuit of unfair benefits, prohibiting abuse of authority using positions, and prohibiting budget misuse for purposes other than intended through this campaign, and individually read it aloud in their departments to pledge to carry out their duties with integrity.

A county official said, “We hope this campaign will serve as an opportunity to remind once again the importance of integrity, and we will strictly apply punishment standards to public officials who violate the duty of integrity, thoroughly comply with the code of conduct for public officials, and strive to eradicate corruption.”

Meanwhile, Gokseong-gun plans to further deepen and activate 32 integrity policies in five areas, including operating a self-learning system for integrity and kindness, customized integrity education by rank, Integrity Golden Bell, and morning integrity broadcasts, using the pledge writing as a foundation.
