[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan Fire Station (Chief Park Won-guk) announced on the 20th that it conducted an emergency fire safety inspection targeting nursing hospitals within Muan County.
This emergency inspection was carried out on nursing hospitals and nursing homes in Muan County to prevent winter fires, which can easily be neglected while focusing all efforts on responding to COVID-19 and infectious disease outbreaks.
The main activities included holding meetings such as fire safety consulting, conducting fire safety education for related personnel, checking the operational status and maintenance of firefighting facilities such as sprinkler systems, and verifying the usability of emergency exits, evacuation stairs, and other facilities in case of emergencies.
Additionally, to prevent the spread of infectious diseases due to COVID-19, the inspection was conducted while wearing protective suits and adhering to COVID-19 quarantine guidelines. Education on how to properly put on and take off protective suits was provided to related personnel to contribute to preventing the spread of infectious diseases.
