Amid these efforts, an innovative housing platform called 'NugunaJip 3.0' is gaining attention. The reason NugunaJip 3.0 is in the spotlight is simple: as the name suggests, anyone can obtain a home.
NugunaJip 3.0 is a social cooperative rental housing system that allows anyone to live in an apartment for 8 years by paying only 10% of the housing price. The 10% of the housing price refers to 10% of the apartment's initial supply price, which is paid by the individual who joins as a cooperative member.
During the 10 years of residence in the apartment, residents pay monthly rent calculated at a monthly rent-to-sale conversion rate of 3.5% on the remaining 70% of the housing price. After the basic residence period of 8 years, residents can either convert to ownership at the initial supply price or continue living by paying rent. This choice is left to the resident.
NugunaJip 3.0 is also changing the paradigm of housing culture. Not only are housing costs affordable, but it also operates a 'Synergy Center' within the apartment to enhance life satisfaction through various welfare facilities. The Synergy Center utilizes underground and common spaces as a cooperative consumption and production center, enabling any apartment resident to find employment.
The Synergy Center also provides convenient shared resident services such as daycare centers, senior centers, community cafes, car sharing, catering, home appliance rentals, asset sharing, and book sharing, making them accessible to everyone.
An official stated, “NugunaJip 3.0 is gaining attention as an innovative housing platform that can solve housing problems. Because anyone can live stably for 10 years by paying only 10% of the housing price,” adding, “Moreover, since the Synergy Center facilitates the circulation of consumption and production, it is expected to create added value in daily life.”
Meanwhile, NugunaJip 3.0 is currently launching new projects in places such as Yeongjongdo Midan City.
