Among the 5 confirmed cases in Gimhae, 3 tested positive after contact with confirmed cases within the province and were classified as cases 1778, 1779, and 1783.
One person who voluntarily got tested after feeling symptoms tested positive and was classified as case 1780. The infection route is under investigation.
One person who tested positive after contact with a confirmed case related to a Busan insurance office was classified as case 1782. This brings the total number of confirmed cases related to the Busan insurance office to 24.
In Changwon, 3 confirmed cases occurred. Among them, one person, a family member of a confirmed case within the province, tested positive and was classified as case 1771.
One colleague of a confirmed case from Daegu tested positive and was classified as case 1776.
Also, one person who voluntarily got tested after feeling symptoms tested positive and was classified as case 1784. The infection route is under investigation.
Among the 3 confirmed cases in Geoje, one person voluntarily got tested and was classified as case 1774. The infection route is under investigation.
One person who had contact with a confirmed case within the province and one overseas entrant were classified as cases 1775 and 1781, respectively.
One confirmed case in Jinju tested positive after contact with a confirmed case within the province and was classified as case 1777.
One confirmed case in Tongyeong was classified as case 1772 after contact with a confirmed case family member. It was confirmed that they visited a religious facility in Jinju together with the family.
One confirmed case in Sacheon was classified as case 1773 after contact with a confirmed case family member.
Accordingly, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the province increased to 1,780 (265 hospitalized, 1,509 discharged, 6 deceased).
