Asiana Airlines Resumes 'A380 Same-Day Overseas Travel' Flights 'A380 Same-Day Overseas Trip'

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Asiana Airlines announced on the 20th that it will resume operating the 'A380 Same-Day Overseas Trip' where duty-free shopping is available.

The product departs from Incheon International Airport at 1 PM on the 31st, flies over Busan, Miyazaki in Japan, and Jeju, and returns to Incheon International Airport at 4:20 PM.

Asiana Airlines stated, "The flight operates on the A380, known as the 'hotel in the sky,' allowing passengers to enjoy a wider cabin space and large-screen in-flight entertainment services."

Since it is an international flight, passengers must carry their passports and can use the Asiana Airlines in-flight duty-free shop as well as duty-free shops at Incheon Airport and downtown. However, for the Asiana Airlines in-flight duty-free shop, on-site orders are not possible; purchases can only be made if pre-ordered through the Asiana Airlines internet duty-free shop.

Passengers will be provided with amenity kits and in-flight entertainment system services. Mileage can also be accumulated, and all customers using Business Suite and Business seats can access the Asiana Airlines lounge at Incheon International Airport.

The product can be purchased through the Asiana Airlines website.

Asiana Airlines said, "We named the event 'Duty-robuteo Free haejineun Yeohaeng' (a trip free from duty) to express our hope that it will be an opportunity to momentarily forget the frustrations of daily life caused by COVID-19."
