[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Seven Eleven announced on the 19th that it has signed the ‘2021 Franchise Win-Win Agreement’ and will actively invest to create a sustainable store operation environment.
Seven Eleven has introduced a new system alongside advancing the operational system to support the establishment of franchise stores’ eSOS (Easy Store Operation System). The main features of eSOS include ▲ establishment of a POS batch processing system and next-generation store management system ▲ supply of Personal Digital Assistants (PDA) ▲ mobile settlement tax data transmission service ▲ support for late-night unmanned operation system ▲ preparation of store security solution programs.
Seven Eleven plans to improve the system so that all store management tasks can be performed at the POS at the counter. Through the integration of the store management computer and POS system, tasks such as ordering, sales and inventory management, product inquiry, and various data checks can be done directly at the counter.
Personal PDAs that can further enhance the efficiency of store operations will also be introduced. Digitalizing management tasks through PDA devices will make product inspection and inventory management more accurate and faster, reducing the time required. Operation of online services such as delivery and last order will also become more convenient.
Various documents required for franchise monthly settlement will be able to be sent easily via mobile without the need for mail or fax. A ‘mobile tax service’ that allows various tax-related data to be transmitted and processed via mobile will also be introduced.
In addition, the unmanned convenience store ‘Signature’ model will be actively applied to late-night unmanned operation stores to help franchises generate additional revenue and improve profits. A store security solution program through private security companies will also be prepared so that franchises can use it at an affordable price.
Franchise welfare systems will also be further strengthened. Seven Eleven will newly establish this year welfare systems such as ▲ labor consultation services ▲ management education support.
