According to the police on the 19th, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul has booked Park on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving) and is investigating her.

Park is accused of crashing her foreign car, which she was driving under the influence, into a passenger car waiting at a traffic light at Jamsil 3 Samgeori in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, around 11:30 a.m. on the 17th.

At the time, Park was alone in her car, while the other vehicle had two people, the driver and a passenger. It is reported that neither side was seriously injured. Park's blood alcohol concentration at the time was 0.097%, which is at the level for license cancellation.

On the day of the accident, Park was questioned by the police and then went home, reportedly admitting to the charges. The police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident.
