LGU+ Raises Up to 519,000 KRW
Free Starting from 64GB Plans in the 60,000 KRW Range
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] LG Uplus has increased the official subsidy for the iPhone SE to a maximum of 510,000 KRW. With additional subsidies, the 64GB model can be purchased for free.
On the 18th, LG Uplus raised the official subsidy for the 2nd generation iPhone SE to a maximum of 514,000 KRW. When it was released in May last year, the official subsidy was 105,000 KRW, but it has been significantly increased this time.
LG Uplus increased the official subsidy by about 400,000 KRW, ranging from 198,000 KRW to 514,000 KRW depending on the plan. The official subsidies by plan are ▲ LTE Data 33: 354,000 KRW ▲ Data 44: 403,000 KRW ▲ Data 59: 469,000 KRW ▲ Data 69: 514,000 KRW. Additionally, plans in the 70,000 to 100,000 KRW range also receive an official subsidy of 514,000 KRW.
If you use a plan costing 60,000 KRW or more, you can purchase the 64GB iPhone SE 2nd generation (retail price 539,000 KRW) without any device cost burden by adding an additional subsidy of 77,100 KRW. Based on the 60,000 KRW plan, the 128GB model can be purchased for around 13,000 KRW, and the 256GB model for around 150,000 KRW.
