Online Applications Open Until February 10 for Startups Within 6 Years Holding Innovative Technologies

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Financial Group announced on the 18th that it is openly recruiting ‘KB Starters,’ startups that will take on the challenge of spreading innovative financial services together.
Startups within six years of establishment can apply online through the KB Innovation Hub website, KB Financial Group’s fintech lab, by February 10. In this open recruitment, there are no restrictions on the fields of recruitment to allow various startups with innovative DNA and technologies that can grow alongside KB Financial to participate. In particular, active opportunities will be provided to startups based on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) aimed at creating social value, as well as startups that will work together toward ‘finance that changes the world.’
The selected ‘KB Starters’ will be able to move into a dedicated startup space located in Gangnam, Seoul, and will also have opportunities to promote partnerships and collaborations with KB Financial Group affiliates. Additionally, they will gain faster growth opportunities through scale-up programs tailored to each growth stage, including management consulting, investment attraction, and global expansion.
Meanwhile, KB Financial Group is focusing on creating various success cases and enhancing the intrinsic value of startups by providing effective investment and partnership support at the enterprise level for ‘KB Starters.’ As of the end of 2020, a total of 111 ‘KB Starters’ have shown top-level collaboration achievements in the financial sector, including 174 business partnerships with KB Financial Group and attracting 52.3 billion KRW in investments from KB Financial Group.
