Construction of a 1090m Underground Road and Development of an Upper Park along Gukhoe-daero, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suhwan] Dongyang, a subsidiary of Eugene Group, has succeeded in winning the contract for the 'National Assembly-daero Underground Road and Upper Park Civil Engineering Project.'
On the 18th, according to Dongyang, through a consortium formed with Kolon Global and Samchully ENG, they won the civil engineering contract for the 'National Assembly-daero Underground Road and Upper Park (Phase 2) Construction Project Section 1,' worth 120 billion KRW, commissioned by the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Urban Infrastructure Headquarters.
Through this project, Dongyang will construct a 1,090-meter-long underground road along National Assembly-daero in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul (from Hwagok Overpass Intersection to Sinjeong-dong 1060) and create a park on top of it. The construction period is expected to take 48 months from the start date.
A Dongyang official stated, "It is especially meaningful to succeed in securing a public sector project at the beginning of the new year," adding, "We will strive to ensure a successful construction based on our abundant experience and excellent construction capabilities."
