Gyeongbuk Province Hosts Online Exhibition and Export Consultation for 'Auto Parts & Machinery'... "Introducing New Overseas Marketing"

March 15-19 at Daegu Trade Center... Participant Companies Recruitment Until January 27

Gyeongbuk Province Hosts Online Exhibition and Export Consultation for 'Auto Parts & Machinery'... "Introducing New Overseas Marketing" Consultation scene at the Gyeongsangbuk-do online export consultation meeting.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongsangbuk-do announced on the 18th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the 'Daegu-Gyeongbuk Auto Parts and Machinery Online Exhibition Export Consultation' until the 27th.

Considering the ongoing difficulties in overseas travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gyeongbuk Province will introduce a new form of non-face-to-face overseas marketing targeting its main export items, auto parts and machinery, from March 15 to 19 at the Daegu Trade Center.

Overseas local buyers can directly examine the products of participating companies through videos or promotional materials in an online exhibition hall where the traditional offline exhibition space is realized in a three-dimensional form, and then conveniently apply for video consultations from their own locations.

Local companies can also use the virtual system of the online exhibition hall during the event period to coordinate schedules in advance and conduct one-on-one export consultations with overseas buyers.

About 20 export companies from Gyeongbuk Province and 20 companies from Daegu City are expected to participate in this fusion exhibition. Gyeongbuk Province plans to invite about 40 overseas buyers online from Europe, the Americas, and Asia through local auto parts and machinery associations or organizations.

Companies wishing to participate in the consultation can apply to the International Trade Team of the Foreign Affairs and Trade Division of Gyeongbuk Province or the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of the Korea International Trade Association.

Baek Seong-gil, Director of the Job Economy Office of Gyeongbuk Province, said, "By joining forces with Daegu City to proactively introduce a new form of overseas marketing, we aim to help export companies open overseas markets," adding, "We will continue to create future-oriented business models that actively respond to the non-face-to-face era."
