Home&Shopping "Trot Power of 40s and 50s Worked"... 'Shoppertainment' Strategy Hits the Mark Singer Song Ga-in is performing live in the V7 launch broadcast.


[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Home&Shopping (CEO Kim Ok-chan) announced on the 18th that it achieved success by implementing a shoppertainment strategy combining trot shows and shopping for the strong needs of healthy scalp care and hair loss treatment among people in their 40s and 50s.


Home&Shopping explained that on the 16th at 8:30 PM, the launch broadcast of the hair loss prevention shampoo brand 'V7' featured singers Song Ga-in and Sukhaeng, resulting in a sellout. Approximately 5,600 sets prepared were all sold, generating sales of 540 million KRW.


This is the first time Home&Shopping combined live shows and sales broadcasts, conducted in a format that merged live trot performances and shopping. It is analyzed that the common hair loss concerns of the main customer base of women in their 40s and 50s and the trot craze led to the sellout.


A Home&Shopping official said, "It seems meaningful to have achieved a sellout as the first challenge combining live trot shows and shopping," adding, "We will continue to be Home&Shopping that draws customers' empathy through various methods."
