Shinhan Life to Open Recruitment for New Employees Starting April


[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Shinhan Life, launching in July, will conduct an open recruitment for new employees.


Shinhan Life Insurance and Orange Life announced on the 18th that they will recruit the first batch of Shinhan Life open recruitment in 2021. To ensure fair hiring, the process will be conducted in a blind manner, disregarding age, alma mater, gender, and other factors.


The recruitment is scheduled for July, coinciding with the launch of Shinhan Life, with the number of hires in the double digits.


Applicants must be university graduates or expected graduates. In the document screening stage, common job applicants with awards from external digital (ICT) competitions or those who have completed digital (ICT) related training will be given preference, and IT job applicants holding IT-related certifications will be prioritized.


The process will begin with a recruitment announcement on April 1, followed by document screening, written tests, practical interviews, and final interviews. Depending on the COVID-19 situation, the recruitment process may be conducted online.


A Shinhan Life Insurance official stated, "While many companies are reducing their hiring scale, we have prepared open recruitment for Shinhan Life's new leap forward," adding, "We hope for great interest in recruiting new employees who will lead Shinhan Life's future."
