[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongjin Lee, Mayor of Dobong-gu, conducted an on-site inspection on the 15th of the renovation and installation works around Nokcheon Bridge on Jungnangcheon Stream, including the water play area and basketball court.
Dobong-gu has newly refurbished the water play area, rest plaza, basketball court, and jokgu court around Nokcheon Bridge on Jungnangcheon Stream, which had not been properly maintained due to the expansion construction of the Dongbu Expressway. In addition, the bicycle paths and walking trails were rearranged to eliminate inconveniences for existing residents.
After touring the site, Mayor Dongjin Lee of Dobong-gu said, “Since the water play facilities are mostly used by children, special attention must be paid to water quality management and safety.” He added, “In preparation for the sharp increase in residents’ use during the summer, please provide changing rooms and restrooms to ensure convenience.”
He also emphasized, “Please pay attention to the inspection and placement of disinfectants for the living sports facilities set up along Jungnangcheon Stream in accordance with COVID-19 quarantine measures.”
