2021 Gangwon Provincial Government Major Work Report Meeting Held

Inspection of Key Projects Promoted in the 7th Civilian Administration, Major Work Plans by Departments Reported This Year
Governor, Department Heads, Special and Policy Advisors, and Other Key Personnel All Participate

[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gangwon Province will hold the 2021 major administrative work report meeting presided over by the governor on the morning of the 18th at the new government building's large conference room.

The meeting will be attended by the provincial leadership, department and bureau heads, special and policy advisors, and other key provincial personnel. They will review the projects emphasized and promoted during the 7th elected term of Gangwon Province and report on the major work plans for each department and bureau this year.

This year, Gangwon Province has set disaster and economic recovery and the promotion of the 4th Industrial Revolution as core administrative goals, focusing on 19 tasks across five major areas: climate change response, promotion of the 4th Industrial Revolution, low birthrate and aging population, sustainable jobs, and realization of a peace economy.

Through the report meeting, the province plans to strengthen the collaboration system by sharing work among departments and bureaus and to prepare strategies for securing national funding for the next year, aiming to produce tangible administrative achievements.
