Gurye-gun Recruits Total of 30 for 6th Civil Complaint Monitor to Participate in County Administration

[Gurye=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Miseok] On the 16th, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will publicly recruit the 6th Civil Complaint Monitors to implement an administration that communicates with residents by collecting broad and vivid voices from the field.

The Civil Complaint Monitors will engage in activities that directly communicate and participate in the administration by freely presenting opinions online and offline, including ▲ conveying voices from the field such as local residents' grievances and inconveniences ▲ presenting residents' opinions on current administrative issues ▲ reporting cases of illegal or unfair administrative processing and suggestions for system improvement ▲ proposing policies for administrative development and reporting good news cases.

The total number of recruits is 30, and applicants must be residents aged 19 or older who are registered and living in Gurye-gun as of the announcement date. Applicants can apply in person at their local eup/myeon office by the 29th.

The Civil Complaint Monitors will be finalized on the 17th of next month, considering population ratio, occupational groups, gender, etc., by eup/myeon. The selection results will be posted on the Gurye-gun website in February.

Through these Civil Complaint Monitors, the county plans to diversify ways to listen to residents' opinions in existing administrative tasks, solve residents' inconveniences, and implement an administration that communicates and empathizes. Additionally, it plans to promote open administration with residents by receiving new ideas.

County Governor Kim Sun-ho said, “We expect many residents who have been interested but had few opportunities to participate in the administration to take part,” and added, “We are waiting for meaningful residents who wish to serve as representatives of local residents to create a hopeful and happy Gurye together.”

He continued, “We will continue to make greater efforts to establish a foundation for promoting major administrative policies through open administration that communicates with residents.”
