The Galaxy S21 series consists of three models: the 6.2-inch Galaxy S21, the 6.7-inch Galaxy S21+, and the 6.8-inch Galaxy S21 Ultra, all released exclusively for 5G. The S21 Ultra supports the S Pen function, which was previously only available on the Note series devices. Prices are Galaxy S21 at 999,900 KRW (VAT included), Galaxy S21+ at 1,199,000 KRW, and Galaxy S21 Ultra at 1,452,000 KRW (VAT included) for 256GB and 1,599,400 KRW (VAT included) for 512GB.
KT, First Telecom Operator to Host Galaxy S21 Live Commerce
KT will be the first telecom operator to hold a live commerce broadcast featuring the Galaxy S21 on the first day of pre-orders, the 15th, at 6 PM. The broadcast will be held on 'Seezn' (hereafter Seezn), KT's official YouTube account, and the Hyundai Home Shopping H Mall app shopping live, with popular singer DinDin. Customers can interact in real-time via chat on H Mall and Seezn, asking questions and receiving various benefits such as Seezn TV coupons.
For customers ordering the Galaxy S21 on the official online mall KT Shop, KT's '1-hour delivery' service will be operated exclusively in the Seoul area. Delivery via quick service will start at 9 PM on the 20th, two days before activation, allowing customers to receive their Galaxy S21 by 10 PM. The convenient '1-minute order reservation' service also enables fast and easy pre-ordering.
Additionally, KT offers various gifts to customers who pre-order, including ▲wireless chargers ▲car fast chargers ▲waffle makers, among other products. A raffle event will also be held, offering premium home appliances such as Samsung AirDresser, Samsung Jet cordless vacuum cleaner, and Samsung air purifier.

KT is launching a video call ringtone service called 'V Coloring' alongside the Galaxy S21 release. V Coloring allows customers to set a desired video that will be shown on the caller’s smartphone. A launch discount promotion is also underway. For 90 days after subscription, V Coloring alone is available for 990 KRW per month, and the V Coloring plus Catch Call package is 1,320 KRW per month. The promotion runs through June and is offered at the same price as the existing RingToYou (voice call ringtone), allowing users to try it without burden. After three months, prices will be 3,300 KRW and 3,600 KRW per month, respectively.
Galaxy-exclusive insurance 'Galaxy Care' is also provided, which covers up to 1.5 million KRW with a maximum deductible of 70,000 KRW for screen damage (based on Galaxy Care 150, monthly 6,900 KRW). The 'Galaxy Care Pack' offers free rental phone support extended by one week compared to before for 770 KRW per month (VAT included), compensation for financial damages caused by voice phishing/smishing, and coverage for injuries occurring in daily life. 'Buds Safety 3' is insurance exclusively for Buds, covering up to 100,000 KRW for loss or damage of Buds Live or Buds Pro. The fee is 990 KRW per month, and a promotion offering free use until April 30 is ongoing.
Insurance convenience is also expanded. Especially for customers purchasing the Galaxy S21 unlocked, immediate non-face-to-face subscription is possible via the My KT app or web. The compensation process for loss or damage has been drastically reduced from six steps to two steps, allowing insurance review with SMS authentication only.
‘Super Change’ Program Offers Up to 50% Compensation of Original Price
Using the 'Super DC3 Hyundai Card' provides a total discount of up to 960,000 KRW on communication fees over 24 months, with up to 40,000 KRW per month (when spending over 1.5 million KRW the previous month). The advantage is receiving industry-leading discount benefits with just one card. Also, purchasing the Galaxy S21 with the 'Super DC2 Hyundai Card' gives up to 10% cashback of the original price (up to 100,000 KRW) and up to 3 months of interest-free installment payments. This promotion is available to the first 2,100 customers until January 31.
A program to reduce the burden of purchasing the Galaxy S21 is also introduced. ‘Super Change’ allows customers to use the Galaxy S21 for 24 months and then upgrade to the latest Galaxy series. When returning the used Galaxy S21, customers can receive compensation of up to 50% of the original price.
Customers purchasing the Galaxy S21 from KT can enjoy unlimited Netflix along with 5G data. When subscribing to the 5G plan Super Plan Choice, customers can select 'Netflix Choice.' Applying the selection discount (25%) and premium family combination discount (25%) can reduce monthly fees by up to 50%. Super Plan Special Choice customers can enjoy unlimited Netflix for 55,000 KRW per month. The premium family combination discount is available without restrictions to any family members using KT Internet and unlimited plans.
To commemorate the Galaxy S21 launch, KT will hold a YouTube launch event at 8 PM on the 21st. It will be conducted as a 'camping mukbang' with BJ 'Jjuyang,' who has 3 million subscribers, and will be broadcast live on KT’s official YouTube channel and Jjuyang’s channel. Among customers who pre-ordered at KT Shop and KT stores, five will be selected by lottery to attend the event in person. All five invited customers will receive a Galaxy Watch 3 as a prize, and participants in the broadcast will be entered into a draw for Americano coupons and other prizes.
