[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 13th that it will promote 74 agricultural subsidy support projects in 14 fields including agricultural policy, livestock management, and horticulture and fruit farming this year.
By field, △ In agricultural policy and eco-friendly agriculture, 12 projects including support for village communal meals during busy farming seasons, △ In distribution and agricultural food processing, 9 projects including support for production of packaging materials by agricultural product item, △ In future agriculture, 12 projects including support for farming management expenses for elderly small-scale farmers will be carried out.
Also, △ In livestock management and animal quarantine, 21 projects including support for eco-friendly livestock product certification, △ In forestry, forest income projects, △ In horticulture, fruit farming, and agricultural machinery support, 14 projects including facility horticulture modernization projects, △ In floriculture and crops, 5 projects including technical support for diagnosis of vegetable diseases and pests will be promoted.
Agricultural subsidy support projects are open to any farmers, agricultural corporations, and organizations residing in Gokseong-gun. After the application deadline, the county will select the final project recipients through on-site review, agricultural policy subcommittee, and local subsidy review committee for the applicants.
The application period varies by project and will be separately announced through the Gokseong-gun website and eup/myeon offices.
