Barogo Celebrates 6th Anniversary... Hosts Event for Hub Managers, Riders, and Store Owners

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Barogo, a startup operating a last-mile logistics IT platform (CEO Lee Taekwon), announced on the 12th that to celebrate its 6th anniversary, the employees will donate the amount they raised to riders and neighbors. A small prize was also given to exemplary store owners and riders selected through rider recommendations.

On the 8th, Barogo's employees voluntarily donated items which were sold through an internal online auction, raising about 1.4 million KRW. The entire donation amount will be given to riders and neighbors in need of assistance.

Barogo also introduced the '2020 Appreciated Store Owners and Riders' selected through rider recommendations at the online anniversary event on the 11th. Store owner Park Jongjun, who runs 'Dujjim' in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, was chosen as an 'Appreciated Store Owner' for always warmly welcoming riders by providing food and care. Rider Jo Jujin from Anseong, Gyeonggi-do, who has impaired vision in one eye but always works with a bright attitude, was selected as the 'Appreciated Rider.'

Lee Taekwon, CEO of Barogo, said, "Last year's goal of Barogo was for the hub, riders, and headquarters to unite and support store owners, and this should continue this year as well. We will work together to create a corporate culture where anyone can grow, everyone's opinions are heard, and we can comfort each other."
