Dongjak-gu, Recruiting Participants for Youth 4S Job Coordination Program


[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Lee Chang-woo) is recruiting 4 participants for the Seoul-type New Deal Job Project '2021 Youth 4S Job Coordinator' until the 15th.


This job project is designed to allow unemployed youth to gain experience in the public sector and improve their job skills, making it easier to connect to private sector employment.


The recruitment scale is a total of 4 people: ▲ 3 in the employment counseling field ▲ 1 in the promotion field.


Applicants must be Seoul citizens aged between 18 and 39 and must not fall under exclusion criteria (such as currently employed as of the recruitment announcement date, or having more than 23 months of total participation experience in New Deal jobs).


Also, as of the announcement date, applicants whose registered address is in Dongjak-gu, those with experience in design, graphic editing, and promotional content production management, and those holding a career counselor certification will be given preference.


Youth wishing to apply should complete the participation application form, self-introduction letter, and other required documents and submit them online via the Seoul Job Portal from January 11 to January 15.


The final successful candidates will be announced on January 29 after the first document screening and the second interview screening.


The working period is 11 months from February 1 to December 31, with a work schedule of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., five days a week, and the hourly wage will be based on the Seoul-type living wage (amount 10,710 KRW).


Participants will work at the Noryangjin Job Center and will be responsible for professional employment counseling for youth job seekers and promoting youth employment support programs.


Additionally, to help link work experience to employment, participants will receive job competency enhancement training and support for certification acquisition costs up to 50,000 KRW twice a year.
