Holding Departmental Key Task Progress Meetings Following Personnel Changes

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-su] On the 10th, Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that on the 7th, a briefing session was held under the chairmanship of County Governor Lee Seung-ok to prevent leakage of citizen safety, campaign promises, and major priority tasks, and to enhance administrative continuity following personnel changes.

This briefing session was conducted to improve administrative continuity through the handover of duties due to the transfer of some department heads in the regular personnel reshuffle on the 1st, and to stabilize administration by actively responding to rapidly changing internal and external situations in the COVID-19 era.

Each department focused on priority tasks, the status of various public contest projects, and ongoing planning and current issues. In particular, reports were completed on future growth engines for revitalizing the local economy, which has been stagnant due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, and for regional development.

Governor Lee Seung-ok urged through the briefing session, "Please carry out the major projects of each department in 2021 without any setbacks," and added, "Continuously consider the purpose of the projects and potential future issues, and do your best in your assigned duties."
