Taekwang Group New Employees' 'Untact' Volleyball Cheer Support

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] New employees recruited through Taekwang Group's open recruitment cheered for the group’s affiliate, Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders women's professional volleyball team, using an untact (contactless) method.

On the 8th, Taekwang Industrial announced on the 10th that 56 new employees from the group’s open recruitment?including Taekwang Industrial, Daehan Chemical Fiber, Heungkuk Life, Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance, TRN, Tcast, and Korea Cable Telecom (kct)?showed real-time support on the electronic scoreboard during the match between Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders and Hyundai Engineering & Construction volleyball teams.

As part of the new employees’ orientation process, Taekwang Group has held annual group viewing events at volleyball arenas to foster a sense of belonging and pride in the company. This year, due to the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), on-site attendance was difficult, but the employees watched the game remotely through a real-time video program without visiting the stadium.

Currently, the new employees are undergoing about three weeks of non-face-to-face training, starting with a book learning session on the group’s history on the 5th, covering the meaning of management philosophy, ethical management, and talent development.

Meanwhile, during the game, the new employees enthusiastically cheered whenever Heungkuk Life players made impressive plays, boosting their morale. The players, in turn, dominated the opposing team with strong performance, achieving a complete 3-0 victory.
