Han Jeong-ae Reports Assets of 1.2 Billion Won Including Deposits and Apartment Jeonse

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] Candidate for Minister of Environment Han Jeong-ae reported assets totaling over 1.2 billion KRW for herself and her spouse.

According to the personnel hearing request submitted by President Moon Jae-in to the National Assembly on the 6th, Candidate Han reported a leasehold deposit on an apartment worth 670 million KRW, bank deposits of 172.58 million KRW, and securities worth 3.3 million KRW.

Candidate Han has been residing since 2018 in an apartment measuring 117.19㎡ (35 pyeong) located in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul.

Her spouse reported a 2018 Genesis car valued at 31.6 million KRW, bank deposits of 109.28 million KRW, and securities worth 13.21 million KRW.

On the afternoon of the 6th, President Moon approved the personnel hearing requests for Minister of Environment candidate Han and Minister of Justice candidate Park Beom-gye.
