Exclusive Shopping Mall for University and Graduate Students... Sign Up via School Email Account Verification
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Samsung Electronics opened the 'Galaxy Campus Store' on the 4th, selling Galaxy devices at discounted prices to university and graduate students.
The Galaxy Campus Store is a mobile and IT exclusive online shopping mall for university and graduate students aged 18 to 29. Membership is available through verification of the school email account of the institution currently attended.
The Galaxy Campus Store sells smartphones, wearables, tablets, laptops, printers, and mobile accessories at prices approximately 10-20% lower than those on the Samsung Electronics website. The purchase frequency for each item is limited to once per year. Samsung Electronics plans to continuously expand the range of products sold at the Galaxy Campus Store.
Currently, not only students enrolled in domestic universities and graduate schools but also prospective students, those studying at overseas universities, and university students over 29 years old can join by submitting proof documents. Detailed information is available on the Samsung Electronics website.
To commemorate the opening of the Galaxy Campus Store, Samsung Electronics is conducting a friend referral event so that more students can enjoy the benefits. When recommending a university friend to join, various prizes such as N points, electric bicycles, game consoles, and gifticons are awarded according to the number of times the referrer ID is entered.
A Samsung Electronics official said, "As more students recently enjoy not only learning and self-development but also cultural activities through mobile devices, we planned the 'Galaxy Campus Store' to enable more convenient purchases of various Galaxy products," adding, "Through the 'Galaxy Campus Store,' we plan to approach university customers more closely and strengthen customized benefits."
