A Seller on Facebook Selling Galaxy Buds Pro
Black Package, Improved Waterproofing, 18-Hour Playback Time Indicated
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Samsung Electronics' new wireless earphones, the 'Galaxy Buds Pro,' which have not yet been publicly released, have appeared on a Facebook sales page.
On the 3rd (local time), a post selling the Galaxy Buds Pro was uploaded on Facebook's commerce service, Marketplace. The seller posted photos including the earphones, case, and packaging, stating they have two units available and are selling them for $180. The Galaxy Buds Pro is an unreleased new product expected to be unveiled at the Unpacked event on the 14th.
The Galaxy Buds Pro package uploaded by the seller is in black, differing from previous models. The specifications listed on the package do not significantly deviate from already known information. These include a two-way speaker system and an improved waterproof rating (IPX7). Additionally, it supports active noise canceling mode, and the battery life is stated to be up to 18 hours when using the case.
The price set by the seller is likely different from the actual selling price. Based on previously leaked information, the price of the Galaxy Buds Pro is expected to be $219. Marketing slide materials previously released and documents revealed during the FCC certification process showed a price of $199. The specifications are improved compared to the Galaxy Buds Live, so a $30 increase is anticipated. The domestic retail price is approximately 220,000 to 230,000 KRW.
IT specialist media SamMobile explained, "As the new product release date approaches, the intensity of leaks and rumors increases," adding, "With the package color changed to black, it is clearly distinguished from Apple products."
