According to the related industry on the 1st, Lotteria will operate a limited-time sale and giveaway promotion for the Square Shrimp Double Burger, which consists of two square shrimp patties, throughout January.
The Square Shrimp Double Burger, released as a limited product, features two mini shrimp patties to enhance the shrimp texture and volume of the burger. It is a promotional product planned to celebrate the New Year of the Ox in 2021.
At Lotteria offline stores, the ‘Double Patty Rival’ promotion is also running, offering cheese sticks to customers who purchase the Square Shrimp Double Burger set with two patties or the Double X2 Burger set made with Australian beef patties and two slices of cheese. Additionally, online mobile Lotteria KakaoTalk Plus Friend customers will receive a coupon to upgrade the limited Square Shrimp Double Burger set.
A Lotteria GRS official said, “The Square Shrimp Double Burger, sold only on January 1st, the first day of the New Year of the Ox 2021, features two patties, allowing customers to enjoy double the volume and shrimp patty texture.” He added, “In 2021, we will strive to provide customers with special experiences through various new products and promotions.”
Papa John’s Pizza has planned a New Year discount event where customers can enjoy the new menu item ‘Meatball Pepperoni Pizza’ along with signature side dishes and cola at a special price to celebrate the Year of the Ox, a symbol of abundance. Accordingly, until February 5th, customers who purchase the Meatball Pepperoni Pizza and select a side menu and a 1.25ℓ Coca-Cola together will receive a 30% discount on the pizza. Side menu options include chicken strips or Papa’s wings, allowing customers to choose one according to their preference.
The benefits apply to orders placed through Papa John’s Pizza website, mobile web or app, as well as via call center and in-store visits for delivery or takeout. However, the promotion is only valid for Original Crust large and family sizes and cannot be combined with other coupons or discounts.

Domino’s Pizza is selling three types of ‘Happy New Year Home Party Sets’ consisting of generous pizzas and side dishes until the 3rd.
The ‘Friendship Set’ includes a Star Chef Signature Pizza (M), Chef’s Truffle Basil Pasta, and a 1.25ℓ Coca-Cola. The ‘Couple Set’ consists of a Star Chef Truffle Basil Pizza (M), Chef’s Tomato Pasta, and a 1.25ℓ Coca-Cola. Both are priced at 29,900 KRW. The ‘Family Set’ includes a Global Legend 4 Pizza (M), Spicy Seafood Rose Pasta, Crispy Hot Boneless Chicken, and a 1.25ℓ Coca-Cola, sold for 32,900 KRW.
The ‘Star Chef Signature Pizza’ included in Domino’s ‘Happy New Year Home Party Set’ is made with dry-aged steak matured for 240 hours, offering tender meat and juicy flavor, combined with the star chef’s signature steak sauce and truffle cream sauce. The ‘Global Legend 4 Pizza’ features the four most popular best pizzas from Domino’s in Korea, the USA, Australia, and France all on one pizza.
A Domino’s Pizza official said, “We prepared the home party set menu so that customers can spend warm moments sharing delicious food with their families at the start of 2021.” He added, “We hope everyone enjoys the set menu, which includes a variety of pizzas and side dishes, and plans a happy 2021.”
