What kind of memories will 2020 leave us in the future?
First of all, we cannot leave out the COVID-19 pandemic.
COVID-19 has greatly impacted our society as a whole, including remote work and online distance learning, and before vaccines became widely available, it led to a bleak year-end.
We also witnessed an unprecedented conflict between the Minister of Justice (Choo Mi-ae) and the Prosecutor General (Yoon Seok-yeol) under the major premise of prosecutorial reform, and saw with our own eyes the groups operating child sexual exploitation materials on the messenger app Telegram.
It was not all gloomy memories.
