[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] Hana Tour announced on the 30th that it has decided to assume debt amounting to 22,025,540,000 KRW related to the lease deposit and general corporate loans for the operation of SM Duty Free Shop, its subsidiary, at Incheon Airport duty-free store.
Hana Tour explained, "Due to the weakened debt repayment capacity caused by the accumulated losses of SM Duty Free Shop, we have decided to fulfill the debt obligations as a joint guarantor."
