"Golf balls praised by tour players."
Callaway Golf's 4th generation Chrome Soft X20 (pictured) was newly created to suit golfers' preferences through differentiated structure and technology from the previous 3rd generation. From the development stage, players' needs were deeply investigated. It made headlines in 2018 as the first golf ball to adopt cutting-edge material graphene, achieving overwhelming distance, perfect control, and extreme softness. To achieve faster ball speed, the dual core was changed to a single core.
The size increased by 117%, establishing a framework for powerful kinetic energy. It boasts as a "model perfectly suited for tour players." The mantle structure, made with two layers in the 'New High Speed Dual Mantle System,' guarantees outstanding ball speed and consistent spin. The soft inner mantle provides cushioning effect to improve hitting feel, while the firm outer mantle leads to high ball speed. The urethane cover, 10% thinner, demonstrates its power.
During a full swing, it delivers fast ball speed and low spin, while in the short game, it offers high spin and soft hitting feel. The Sports Industry Technology Center (KIGOS) robot test measuring the distance of the 3rd and 4th generation Chrome Soft confirmed excellent distance performance. All three swing speeds?90 mph, 100 mph, and 110 mph?showed improvements of more than 6 meters. The Triple Track technology is applied to enhance putting accuracy. There are two models available.
