[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seok-jin] Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, who returned to duty on the 24th following the court's decision to suspend the execution of his 'suspension order,' will report on overall work matters on Christmas Day, the 25th, after being absent since receiving the suspension order on the 16th.
The Supreme Prosecutors' Office stated, "Prosecutor General Yoon is scheduled to arrive at work at 1 p.m. on the 25th to receive reports on work during his absence from the Deputy Prosecutor General and the Secretary General."
It added, "He also plans to come to work at 2 p.m. on the 26th to receive related work reports from the Deputy Prosecutor General, Secretary General, Head of Policy Planning Division, Criminal Policy Officer, and Head of Operations Support Division, and to handle work accordingly."
However, it is known that Prosecutor General Yoon will use the underground parking lot to commute in order to avoid the press.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Administrative Court Administrative Division 12 (Presiding Judge Hong Soon-wook), which reviewed the suspension of execution application filed by Prosecutor General Yoon on the same day, ruled, "The two-month suspension order imposed on the applicant (Prosecutor General Yoon) by the President on December 16, 2020, shall be suspended in effect until the day 30 days after the judgment date of the case No. 2020GuHap88541, which is the disciplinary action cancellation lawsuit filed with this court."
