Professor Seojinho Seo of Pukyong National University Appointed as Expert Member of the National Science and Technology Advisory Council

Active for 2 Years in the ICT Convergence Expert Committee

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Professor Seo Jin-ho of Pukyong National University (Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering) has been appointed as a specialist member of the ICT Convergence Expert Committee of the National Science and Technology Advisory Council (Deliberation Committee). The term is two years starting from January 2021.

The National Science and Technology Advisory Council under the Ministry of Science and ICT is a presidential advisory body established to promote innovation in national science and technology.

Composed of experts from industry, academia, and research institutes in seven fields including the ICT Convergence Expert Committee, it performs roles such as reviewing the feasibility of government R&D projects, budget appropriateness, and project linkage.

Professor Seo, as a specialist member of the ICT Convergence Expert Committee, engages in activities such as setting directions for government R&D investment and preparing investment strategies by technology sector.
