Three Works Selected Including Grand Prize and Two Excellence Awards, Plaques and Bronze Plates Presented

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 24th that it has selected 'Hill Road Care House' in Chungmugong-dong as the grand prize winner of the 18th Jinju City Architecture Awards.
The Jinju City Architecture Awards is an event held biennially to discover and select outstanding buildings that embody public, artistic, and functional values, aiming to boost the morale of building owners and those involved in architecture.
This year, a total of 10 works were submitted through a public contest. The city selected three works in total through judging: one grand prize and two excellence awards.
The grand prize went to 'Hill Road Care House,' a detached house located in Chungmugong-dong, while the excellence awards were given to 'Cafe Myuren' in Gangnam-dong and 'Jinju Knowledge Industry Center' in Mangyeong-dong, respectively.
The grand prize-winning 'Hill Road Care House' received favorable reviews for presenting a new model of detached housing through its nature-friendly and original design, harmoniously combining straight and curved lines.
A city official stated, "The Jinju City Architecture Awards are meaningful in leading the development of Jinju's architectural culture," adding, "We will continue to discover and encourage excellent architecture to improve the city's aesthetics and enhance the dignity of this cultural and artistic city."
