[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT has introduced the ‘Naver KT Usage Statement’ service, which allows users to check and pay their telecom bills through the Naver application (app).
According to KT on the 23rd, the Naver KT Usage Statement utilizes Naver electronic documents, and its key feature is the ability to easily view detailed billing information. In particular, customers who used to receive paper statements by mail can now avoid concerns about losing their statements or receiving them late.
To use the Naver KT Usage Statement, customers need to apply for the service through the electronic document menu in the Naver app and complete ‘Naver Authentication.’ Customers can check their bills starting from the month following the month in which they applied, and they can pay their telecom bills using ‘Naver Pay.’
In the future, functions to pay telecom bills directly via Naver Pay on the same screen after checking the bill and to set up automatic payments will also be provided.
To commemorate the launch of the service, KT and Naver will provide 1,000 Naver Pay points to 30,000 customers who apply for the Naver KT Usage Statement by the end of February 2021. All applicants can enter a prize event offering Starbucks gift shows and other rewards. Especially, customers who previously received paper statements by mail can also enter an additional prize event to win an iPhone 12 and AirPods Pro.
