[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) announced on the 22nd that it appointed actor Kim Myungsoo, the lead actor of KBS-2TV's new Monday-Tuesday drama "Secret Royal Inspector: Joseon Secret Investigation Team" (hereafter "Secret Royal Inspector"), which premiered on the 21st, as an honorary "Secret Royal Inspector" of the ACRC.


On the 21st at 1:30 PM, Ahn Hyun-hee, Chairperson of the ACRC, presented actor Kim Myungsoo, who plays Seong Ik-gyeom, a Hongmungwan official and secret royal inspector in the drama, with a certificate of appointment and a wooden tablet at the Government Seoul Office.


The drama "Secret Royal Inspector" is a comedic mystery investigation series about secret royal inspectors and their investigation team in the Joseon Dynasty, who eradicate corruption, confront wrongdoing, and resolve the grievances of the common people.


The ACRC explained that since its main tasks of eradicating corruption and resolving citizens' grievances align well with the content of the drama "Secret Royal Inspector," it appointed actor Kim Myungsoo, who plays Seong Ik-gyeom, as an honorary "Secret Royal Inspector."
