Fila Launches Back-to-School Backpack Collection

[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Global sports brand Fila has launched the ‘2021 Back to School Backpack Collection’ ahead of the new semester.

All products across the lines incorporate high-strength, high-functionality, and high-spec features. Using materials such as military jacket fabric, durability has been maximized, and hygiene was also considered by applying lining materials with antibacterial properties. The backpacks are designed with a meticulous organizer system throughout, allowing smart storage of various belongings from Bluetooth earphones to laptops.

This collection consists of two lines: the ‘Advanced Line (Carbon, Aegis)’ and the ‘Origin Line (Force21, T-Pack21, Link21)’. The Carbon backpack in the Advanced Line uses ripstop fabric woven with strong threads in a checkerboard pattern between the fabric layers, with double coating applied to the front and back for sturdiness and minimal damage. The bottom of the bag uses 1680 denier high-strength nylon fabric, preventing sagging under heavy loads and resisting wear easily.

The lining uses Ageon antibacterial material that suppresses the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms, and the back panel features an air circulation channel system to keep it comfortable and clean even after long wear. The backpacks also have excellent water resistance, including the laptop pocket.

The Aegis backpack adopts ballistic nylon fabric used in military jackets, providing outstanding durability. It also features Ageon antibacterial lining, an air mesh back panel, and an air circulation system for a comfortable fit. With spacious and practical storage compartments, it is easy to organize not only laptops but various other belongings.

A sag-prevention pad at the bottom and a chest belt detail include a DIY platform D-ring hook for hanging items such as dolls or Bluetooth earphones. It is available in two trendy colors: black and cream.

The Force21 backpack in the Origin Line is characterized by front webbing strap details. Small webbing straps can hold accessory hooks, carabiners (outdoor safety hooks), and other small items, while large webbing straps can hold heavier items such as skateboards or clothing, making it practical. An outdoor mood carabiner keyring is also included as an accessory.

The T-Pack21 backpack is resistant to easy wear and color fading. It includes a ‘mini pouch’ that can be worn as a crossbody bag, enhancing storage practicality. The ‘Link21 backpack,’ weighing a light 840g, is comfortable to wear thanks to the air mesh back panel, and comes with a versatile mini pouch suitable for storing Bluetooth earphones or small belongings, making it practical.
