12th Korea KOSDAQ Awards Grand Prize Goes to Park Systems

Awarded the Best Transparency Management Prize by the Financial Supervisory Service Merchant

[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] At the 12th Korea KOSDAQ Awards, companies such as Park Systems and EcoPro BM received grand prizes and other awards.

The KOSDAQ Association announced on the 21st that Park Systems won the grand prize, the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award, at this year's Korea KOSDAQ Awards. Park Systems is a nano-measuring instrument specialist company producing atomic force microscopes and is recognized as a global small giant company with original technology, having been designated as a "national core technology" in 2015.

The Financial Supervisory Service Award for Best Transparent Management was given to EcoPro BM. Additionally, EcoMarketing and Wonik Materials received the Best Management Award, Genoray received the Best 4th Industrial Innovation Company Award, and Mirae Asset Daewoo received the Best Lead Underwriter Award. All these awards are from the Chairman of the Korea Exchange.

The KOSDAQ Association Chairman's Award for Best Marketing Company went to Pearl Abyss, the Best Techno Company Award to Suprema and JVM, the Best Job Creation Company Award to i-Scream Edu, the Best Social Contribution Company Award to Shinseong Delta Tech, the Best Next-Generation Company Award to Classys, and the Merit Award to lawyer Changhyun Ko of Kim & Chang Law Office.

Meanwhile, the Korea KOSDAQ Awards are finally selected through quantitative evaluations on management performance, transparent management, marketing, technological capability, 4th industrial innovation, and job creation, as well as qualitative evaluations including CEO interviews through corporate due diligence, followed by deliberations by a selection committee composed of external experts. Award-winning companies receive benefits such as exemption from additional listing fees and change listing fees at the Korea Exchange for one year, and free participation in KOSDAQ Association training programs.
