[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Infraware announced on the 21st that Polaris Share has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with KAIST BI SQUARE Lab for joint research on the integration of knowledge exchange systems and token economy.

This MOU is a collaborative research agreement related to the online knowledge-sharing blockchain platform "Polaris Share," scheduled to launch in the first half of next year.

KAIST BI SQUARE Lab and Polaris Share plan to conduct research on various important blockchain themes such as Decentralized Finance (De-Fi) and Data Sovereignty.

In particular, they aim to study behavioral characteristics related to token investment tendencies and knowledge provision, combining behavioral survey questionnaires during events to obtain meaningful data.

Polaris Share is a knowledge-sharing blockchain platform based on Infraware's flagship office software, Polaris Office. Global blockchain development company ConsenSys and Infraware are key strategic partners. In November, the virtual token POLA was listed on Bithumb, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in Korea.

A representative of Polaris Share stated, "Receiving technical advice on platform development and business-related consultation from BI SQUARE Lab will greatly help us launch a more stable and optimized platform in the future." They added, "While existing Knowledge Management Systems have been studied only from the perspective of exchange, Polaris Share represents a significant academic attempt at knowledge exchange through token economy."

They continued, "We expect that combining knowledge provision with token economy will lead to various new variables such as new investment behaviors. Through this research, we aim to significantly contribute to the development of the blockchain industry and suggest directions for a new blockchain ecosystem."

Meanwhile, Infraware is the largest shareholder of IA Networks. They plan to seek synergy through business cooperation with IA Networks, which is engaged in quantum security-related business based on ultra-small packaging technology.
