Intellian Technologies Obtains Patent Rights for Communication System and Antenna Control Method

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] Intellian Technologies announced on the 21st that it has obtained domestic patents for a communication system and an antenna control method.

Regarding the communication system, the company explained, "It is a 3-axis control system to avoid the key-hole effect," and "Unlike existing satellite tracking antenna structures, it is a mechanically optimized structure for tracking low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites, which prevents the occurrence of the key-hole phenomenon and enables stable tracking of LEO satellites."

Regarding the patent related to the antenna control method, the company stated, "Although the key-hole phenomenon occurs due to structural issues in existing satellite tracking antennas, this special algorithm can avoid the key-hole effect by distributing the rotation speed control across multiple motors."

The company added, "By applying this patent to our low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite business products, we plan to strengthen our product competitiveness in the LEO satellite communication market by utilizing our proprietary and exclusive technologies."
