[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] L&K Bio announced on the 21st through separate individual disclosures that it has obtained patents for height-adjustable spinal fusion cages and lateral lumbar interbody fusion cages.
Regarding the height-adjustable spinal fusion cage, the company explained, "Unlike conventional cages with preset heights at fixed intervals, the height is linearly adjustable according to the patient's vertebral body spacing, allowing surgery at the optimal height based on the patient's condition."
In a separate disclosure about the lateral lumbar interbody fusion cage, it was stated, "It features an overall curved shape that enables stable placement in the space between vertebral bodies regardless of the practitioner's skill level, thereby preventing medical accidents that may occur to patients."
