Former Nine Muses Member Geumjo Joins Volunteer Work at Stray Dog Shelter "Please Show Much Interest in Stray Animals and Shelters in Need"
Bridgetail Donates Pet Supplies to Kara
[Asia Economy Reporter Heeyoung Kim] Asia Economy's beauty life press magazine LIKIT held the animal rights action Kara and Clean Life 'DaengDaengTogether' campaign on the 17th.
LIKIT collaborated with Kara to conduct an offline Clean Life campaign in December. For this campaign, they visited the 'Kara The Bom Center' located in Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, delivered pet supplies, and participated in volunteer activities at an animal shelter for abandoned animals.
On this day, the volunteer activity was conducted with a reduced number of participants to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Actress Geumjo, formerly of Nine Muses, also joined the Clean Life volunteer work by cleaning kennels, washing blankets, and doing dishes, demonstrating her love for animals.
Geumjo, who has always been interested in pet welfare, has contributed to spreading positive influence by volunteering for abandoned dogs, temporarily fostering puppies abandoned on the road, and personally finding adoptive families. Geumjo stated, "I believe that small thoughts can come together to change the world. I hope many people will show warm interest in abandoned animals and shelters that need help," and added, "I plan to continue activities to protect abandoned dogs and promote adoption."
Additionally, pet healthcare company BridgeTail participated in the Clean Life campaign by donating pet supplies worth approximately 1.5 million won, including Blooming Body Wash and She's Gone 3-Second Pads in small and large sizes. BridgeTail has been consistently donating to animal protection organizations nationwide and leading the way in promoting a proper pet culture.
Meanwhile, LIKIT's 'Clean Life' was planned with the purpose of raising awareness about the environment and creating a healthy lifestyle together. In October, it announced the start of Clean Life under the slogan 'CONNECT WITH EARTH,' and plans to continue various environmental campaigns in 2021.
