Genians US Corporation Relocates to Silicon Valley for a Fresh Start

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Genians announced on the 14th that its US corporation is relocating to San Jose, California, and starting anew.

Genians established its US corporation in Boston in 2016. It has collaborated with global companies such as 128 Technology, Seceon, Infoblox, ReversingLabs, and IBM to advance its NAC products and launched DPI (Device Platform Intelligence) services, a terminal identification and detection technology specialized for IT and OT.

As a cloud-based next-generation NAC solution, Genians digitized all processes from product sales to technical support and targeted the SMB market with a subscription model that charges based on the software's value. It secured clients including local governments in Ontario, Canada, Wall Street financial institutions, and public schools in the United States.

The Boston US corporation focused on technology research and policy-related sectors due to regional characteristics. Judging that the foundation for global business was complete, it decided to move to Silicon Valley, the global IT paradigm leader.

Kim Gye-yeon, head of Genians' US corporation, said, "Genians' next-generation NAC, which can secure network visibility in cloud, IoT, and edge computing environments, offers various customer offerings as a cloud-based flexible, scalable, and automated NAC as a Service."

He added, "Having secured technological competitiveness and been verified by various customers, we will accelerate global business growth on the main stage of Silicon Valley."

Genians' overseas business has been conducted focusing on the characteristics and localization of each country. In the North and South American regions, it continuously discovers customers and partners who want to use cloud-based NAC in a subscription form, while in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions, it operates its business through local partners using a software license model.
