BASF Launches Multipurpose Diesel Fuel Additive 'Keroper D' in Korea

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Global chemical company BASF has launched the diesel fuel additive 'KEROPUR® D' in the Korean market.

BASF announced on the 14th that the diesel fuel additive KEROPUR D can be purchased on Coupang. KEROPUR D, which is already sold in Europe through online markets, plans to enter the offline market following its launch in the domestic online market last month.

KEROPUR D is a high-performance multifunctional diesel fuel additive that removes accumulated deposits in the engine while preventing the formation of new deposits. It also improves the cetane number of diesel fuel, optimizing engine ignition and supporting a smooth combustion process, thereby contributing to enhanced engine power and efficiency. KEROPUR D keeps diesel fuel injectors clean, extending engine life, and improves startability and drivability through engine optimization.

Boasting excellent engine cleaning effects, KEROPUR D can be used with all diesel fuels, including biodiesel, and helps improve fuel efficiency and reduce exhaust emissions. Additionally, compared to fuels without additives, it effectively prevents fuel quality degradation and engine corrosion with higher stability.
