Installation of 1m High Safety Railings Completed on All Four Sides Surrounding the Stage Lower Lift
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Haman Culture and Arts Center has installed the 'Stage Lift Safety Railing,' a fall prevention device, for the first time nationwide to ensure the safety of the performance stage.
The large performance hall's lift stage at Haman Culture and Arts Center is designed to create dramatic effects such as scene changes or actor appearances during performances, with a maximum descent height of 7.5 meters. This height is equivalent to a three-story apartment, which has always kept workers and managers on high alert.
The newly installed safety railing surrounds all four sides of the stage lift at a height of 1 meter. While some venues have safety railings installed on the second-floor balcony of the audience seating area, Haman Culture and Arts Center is the only one to have safety railings installed on all four sides.
In particular, during the operation of the lift stage, safety fences, safety personnel, warning lights, and alarms are installed and deployed. Additionally, safety signs, warning lights, and LED bars have been installed on the safety railings to further emphasize the prohibition of access to performers and staff.
The Haman Culture and Arts Center stated, "We prioritize safety above all while conducting performances and will do our best to carry out performances without any safety accidents."
