T&R Biofab Acquires Patent Rights for Liver Organoids and Their Manufacturing Method

[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] T&R Biofab announced on the 10th that it has obtained a domestic patent for liver organoids and their manufacturing method.

This patent relates to bioprinting technology capable of precisely replicating human liver tissue patterns and the liver organoids produced using this technology. It enables the rapid and precise printing of various types of cells simultaneously.

The company stated, "By structurally implementing the liver lobule form, organoids can be cultured for an extended period, enhancing the commercial value of the developed products and potentially being utilized to print various human tissues."
